when i grow up...i want to live here!

so mr. rottencrotch and i are in the process of starting to look for a house. after years of renting, we are ready [i think? eegads] to own something. now, of course, what we would like to buy and what we actually will be buying are completely and totally different... but a gal can dream, can't she? can't sheeeeeeee??!
okay, good. so i found this place in vals, switzerland...and i'm ready to pack my bags and switch my currency because this place is insane. check it:

 

 villa vas [this house] was built into the side of a mountain, partially

underground. it was designed by christian müller architects and is pretty

f'in badass, right!?! in the snowy winter:

love the concrete throughout with the gray, black and white

even though i thoroughly despise cold weather, i have to say that i am crazy in love with these awesome homes in granville island, vancouver
